I enjoyed my 3-night stay here. the staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. the fact that it's close to the bus terminal was a great convenience. Also, it was just a short walk away from Pizza Time, where I found myself grabbing a bite to eat a couple of times. 🍕

Travelled with my son, spent 4 nights here and had a relaxing stay. The staff were amicable and the setting was exceptionally nice and excellent. And the area was very quite, just off the beach and supermarket, and the Marino Ballena National Park.

We had a triple room with our own bathroom. the spot where this place is located is really nice, right by a supermarket 🛒. Additionally, it's super close to the beach, as well as other eateries and the bus stop.

Rooms were clean and cozy and provided with a private bathroom as well as balcony. Booked it for usd 59. The location was perfect and magnificent, so close to the national park and the beach and a supermarket, in a really quiet area.

The peaceful and nice location close to the national park is a plus, also the short walk to a private beach and other restaurants was great.

For the value, we got a cozy and comfortable room with A/C, and the hostel had a great atmosphere for some beers and BBQ. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and national park entrance, with nice cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe by adding more variety or options.

The rooms at this hostel were clean and comfortable, with nice beds that provided a good night's sleep. The staff, particularly the owners Nick and Tom, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. They went out of their way to assist with any inquiries and made sure guests felt supported. the location of the hostel was convenient, with a supermarket, restaurant, and beach in close proximity.
There was no hot water available in my room's shower, which was a disappointment. while the hostel's location was close to the beach, it was a bit far from the center of town, requiring either a bike or a 45-minute walk to reach.

loved my stay at pirates! nick & tom were amazing hosts, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. the double room with private bathroom & balcony was clean, comfy, & had ac. also, the national park entrance was just down the road, making it super convenient. definitely exceeded my expectations!
No grocery store nearby.

I couldn't be happier with the value for my money at Pirates. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and a supermarket.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be more variety in the items offered.

The hostel rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, even driving us to the bus stop in the middle of the night when there were no taxis. The hostel is also well located, just a short walk away from a beautiful beach and close to a small supermarket and some restaurants.
The kitchen could be better equipped as it was difficult for more than one person to cook at the same time. the hostel vibe seemed a bit weird, with some people keeping to themselves and not much interaction between different groups.

the atmosphere at this place was one of the best I've encountered so far. the owner, who is the son of the couple running the hostel, was cool and laid-back, making our stay even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond by offering us a ride to the bus station when we were in a hurry. the hostel provided free bikes, although they only had a couple available, so it was first come, first served. the hostel's proximity to the beach and national park was great, even though it wasn't directly beachfront as advertised. the private room I stayed in was small but nice, and the shower was good. the kitchen space was great for cooking, and I appreciated the effort the owners put into making it feel welcoming. They even helped me book a dolphin watching tour at a great price. I also enjoyed meeting other friendly travelers during my stay, which added to the chill atmosphere of the hostel. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.
